When thinking about drawn lines we often think of the single, thin linear scrawl. I am playing with the idea of mapping a walk from A to B and measuring the line of that walk by physically recording the movement the act of walking creates. This is done by suspending a drawing implement (pen etc.) in a box and placing paper underneath it. As I move so does the pen, thus creating a ‘map’ of my journey.

‘Lemonade Photos I’ (2012)
A series of photographs taken of my home using a pinhole camera made from a lemonade can and two rolls of film. Utilizing the camera’s small body the photos are taken from the nooks and floors of the house and we see the home with a child’s perspective.
Done in September this year this work has informed some of the work I have submitted for ‘Align’ which Previews next Tuesday.
